You are constantly changing. You learn new things that are steadily moving you from ignorance to enlightenment. But that does not mean it's easy. Constantly changing and growing can hurt--much like physical growing pains.
Sometimes, your seasons of change have been brought on by life's violent storms that reach deep into your soul and wrench out your self-doubt, insecurities and fears. The pain can be debilitating as you stand paralyzed in your own darkness. It is those moments when there is no hope that this is my purpose for you. You believe you have screwed up. You have failed. There's no "fixing" it...
Do not be afraid.
Be still and know that I am God.
For I say, "Where there are thorns, cypress trees will grow. Where nettles grow, myrtles will sprout up. These events will bring great honor to my name; they will be an everlasting sign of my power and love."
Do not be afraid of changing and growing and becoming something far different than you were yesterday.
Do not be afraid to learn more.
Do not be afraid of your darkness and the pain it brings, for I will be there and mourn with you.
Do not fear life's storms and the pain they inflict on you, for I will heal your wounds.
You've not screwed up.
You have not failed.
You are deeply loved...
And I am making a gorgeous reflection of myself within you.
So be still.
